PENINSULA SOFTBALL PITCHERS & CATCHERS CLINIC (3/15/20)

  • Notre Dame High School 1540 Ralston Avenue Belmont, CA, 94002 United States (map)

The two most unique and technically challenging positions in the game of softball are pitching and catching. However, the skills needed to grow in these positions are often neglected and overlooked in team practices.

During this dual, integrative session led by Stanford and USA Softball alumni catcher Jessica Plaza, pitchers and catchers will have a chance to work together and understand the importance of the battery relationship. Each group will be given a position specific goal/skill to work on for the hour long session in which afterwards we will come together as a group and master. This event has emphasis on the fundamentals of each position, leadership skill building, teamwork, and drills to take home to continue improving your game.

This session is open to all ages and skill levels. If you are a pitcher signing up for this clinic please bring a catcher with you. Catchers please bring a full set of gear to participate.
